About Woody

Woody was sold as a pet puppy, due to lack of available show homes at the time, but when he came back to us for grooming as he grew up, we saw that he was just getting nicer and nicer as time went on. His owners allowed us to show him, and he took to the ring so well! We were planning to take him out and train him so that his owner could take the lead and finish him herself later on, but he finished his AKC championship in only 5 weekends of showing (when he was only 12 months and 1 week old), only ever being defeated by one dog. He is a very moderate-sized male, with a fabulous head, dense coat and the sweetest personality! He has since retired from the show ring, and spends his days playing with his owner's other bedlington, Libby, from our Beatles litter.
