About Vogue
Vogue, like her dam, Rigby, is the result of unique international exchange of bloodlines, combining top-quality pedigrees of American, English, Canadian, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish bedlingtons. Vogue combines many of the best aspects of her pedigree, possessing a beautifully clean and long head, a thick coat, tremendous movement with a beautiful converging front and an outgoing, confident personality. Vogue lives in Ohio with Gaby and her crew.
Vogue started her show career off with a bang, going Winners/Best of Winners/Best of Breed over multiple ranked specials and on to a Group 2 at just her second show, for a 4-point major! That group placement was large enough to catapult her to the #19 (All-Breed) Bedlington Terrier ranking in the United States for 2013! She quickly followed that win up with another 4-point major win and 5 single points. On just her fourth weekend in the show ring, Vogue was awarded another Winners/Best of Winners/Best of Breed and took a Group 3 to finish her AKC Championship with a 3-point major win at just 8 months and 1 day of age!
Vogue quickly made her mark as a top special in the breed. Her first weekened out as a move-up special, she was awarded two Best of Breeds over huge entries, including many top-ranked, top-winning specials. Her first Best of Breed was over an entry of 10 bedlingtons, followed the next day by a Best of Breed over an entry of 12. Vogue ended January 2013 as the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the United States, at just 8 months of age. Vogue catapulted to her Grand Championship, picking up her title with four 5-point majors, a single point and a 4-point major at just 9 months and 1 day of age - exactly one month after finishing her Championship! Vogue attended the 138th Westminster Kennel Club Dog show, where at 9 months and 1 day of age, we believe she was the youngest competitor of any breed. She walked away with the Select Bitch award at Westminster 2014, in a field of 9 bitch specials, to finish her Grand Championship!
Although 2014 was a growing year for Vogue, she quickly followed her Westminster success by going third Award of Merit at the 2014 BTCA National Specialty in Louisville, Kentucky! Continuing her limited campaign this spring, Vogue has picked up several group placements in very strong terrier groups. At just 12 months of age, Vogue earned her first Group 1. Vogue earned two more Group 1's at 14 months of age and earned her fourth and fifth Group 1's at 15 months old! In early October 2014, Vogue earned back-to-back Group 1's (her 6th and 7th) at 16 months of age and went on to earn her first Reserve Best in Show on the day that she earned her 7th Group 1! Her RBIS was to the Portuguese Water Dog, GCh Claircreek Impression De Matisse, the top-winning male show dog in AKC history! In late October, Vogue earned her 8th Group 1 (her third in October!) over 140 terriers, in Leesburg, VA!
Vogue's success continued in 2015, seeing her win her first 3 Group Placements at her first weekend of shows in 2015! Vogue went Best of Breed at the 139th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February! Her dam, Rigby, took the Award of Merit. We showed on a more limited basis early in 2015, but Vogue earned her 9th Group 1 in April, at 23 months old! In June, Vogue earned 5 group placements over a 9-day window (two show weekends), taking 2 Group 2's, 1 Group 3 and 2 Group 4's! She ended June with 7 group placements out of 9 shows that she competed in! After taking almost the entire month of July off, Vogue earned her TENTH Group 1 by winning the terrier group over the incredibly competitive Greensboro, NC weekend. She also won a Group 4 at the Carolina Terrier Association show and a Group 2 at one of the other all breed shows that same weekend. Vogue wrapped up 2015 by going Best of Breed/Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Breed at the 2015 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, ending 2015 as the #1 Bedlington Terrier Bitch (All-Systems).
We had a slow start to the show season in 2016, giving the dogs a few months off of active campaigning. Vogue didn't miss a beat, going Best of Opposite Sex at the 2016 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show to her uncle and housemate, Shilling (BISS GCh LAMZ Heads I Win Tails You Lose CAA RATI RATN), who was Best of Breed. In October, Vogue went Best of Breed at the 2016 Montgomery County Kennel Club dog show, the largest terrier show in the world in an entry just shy of 40 Bedlingtons! Vogue also made the cut in the Montgomery Bred-By Exhibitor group! 2016 would be Vogue's last year of active campaigning, as she was bred for the first and only time in 2017 and has since enjoyed retirement from the Conformation ring, while watching her puppies enjoy the spotlight!

Not just a pretty face, Vogue took to the performance ring in style! At just 10 months and 4 days of age, Vogue received her first qualifying score in Rally-O! She followed that up two days later, earning her second qualifying score and leg towards her Rally Novice (RN) title! At just 10 months of age, Vogue finished her Rally Novice (RN) title with her 3rd Qualifying run and a score of 94/100 in Winchester, VA! The following day, Vogue earned her "Insurance Q" in Rally Novice B with a score of 97/100! Celebrating her 1st Birthday in style, Vogue earned her first three Qualifying Runs in Coursing Ability Tests (CATs) during her first first weekend out on the coursing field. She took to the CATs like a fiend and is progressing quickly through the CAT titles, earning her Coursing Ability and Coursing Ability Advanced titles by 13 months of age. At just 12 months of age, Vogue was introduced to rats and started working toward her Barn Hunt and Earthdog careers. Her first time in the Barn Hunt ring, Vogue walked away with her Barn Hunt Instinct (RATI) title, in a blazing fast run that took just 10 seconds! Vogue earned her Canine Good Citizen designation at just 13 months of age, and her AKC Community Canine (Advanced CGC) at 14 months of age! After taking a break from performance to focus on the Conformation ring, Vogue came back at 4.5 years old to earn her Trick Dog Novice (TKN) title in January 2018. Additionally, Vogue has earned her Coursing Ability Excellent (CAX), BCAT, DCAT and FCAT Fast CAT Titles, AKC Temperament Test (ATT) and Barn Hunt Instint (RATI) titles. She will be working towards more performance titles in the near future! In addition to Rally-O, CATs, Barn Hunt, and Trick Dog, Vogue is also in training for Agility, Obedience and Tracking!
Vogue's dam, Rigby (NBISS GCh LAMZ Eleanor Rigby CAA RATI CGC), had a tremendous show career. Consistently ranked in the top of the breed standings during her campaign, she received many prestigious awards and recognitions. Notably, Rigby was awarded Best of Breed at both the 2013 BTCA National Specialty and the 2013 Westminster Kennel Club dog show, as well as receiving National Specialty Select and Award of Merit wins and multiple Group Wins and Placements. Rigby was the very first Bedlington Terrier Grand Champion in AKC History. She also has been very successful in Coursing Ability Testing, earning her Coursing Ability (CA) title in just one weekend and her Coursing Ability Advanced (CAA) title with a perfect 10-for-10 record! Rigby comes from a pedigree full of top winners and producers. Her sire, Multi Ch Isotop's Hot Shot, is a Champion in several countries with wins and placements at the group level. Her dam, Chloe (Ch LAMZ Lucky Clover), consistently produced top winners in the show ring and is just 1 Champion shy of being a BTCA All-Time Top Producing Brood Bitch. Rigby's grandsire, Vegas, MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE CA RATN RATI CGC, is the 2011 BTCA National Specialty winner and has a lengthy show record, including being the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the US in 2007.
Vogue's sire, Marcus (Ch Trevelyan's Quiet Playing Games), was bred in the Netherlands and later exported to Sweden, where he has had great success in the show ring, yet is too young to finish his Championship under Swedish show rules. Marcus came to the United States for the 2013 BTCA National Specialty, where he was awarded Winners Dog/Best of Winners, and was Winners Dog two other days, for a total of 14pts with 3 majors in just one weekend of showing. He came back to the United States in October 2013 and finished his Championship with ease. Marcus is a beautiful liver dog, with an incredible head and sidegait that epitomizes the requisite "spring" in the Bedlington Terrier standard.
