About Vain
Vain is a small bundle of sass, living up to her name - she thinks the world of herself! She is from our September 2019 litter between Zoolander and Monroe. She lived with Gaby for the first year of her life, before finding her forever home in Northern Virginia with her new co-owner. Look for her in the show ring and performance venues in the future!
Vain made her showing debut at 4 month old, earning her first 4-6mos Beginner Puppy Best in Show. She quickly followed that win with another 4-6mos Beginner Puppy Group 1. Vain took to the real classes in the show ring with ease, going Winners Bitch at her first two shows for her first two points towards her AKC Championship in early March 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Vain's show career was been put on hold as most shows in the USA were cancelled through the spring and into the summer of 2020.
Despite the pause in her show career, Vain finished her Championship with ease, earning a 5-point major and a Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Show at the Terrier Club of Michigan shows in September 2020, and another major during the AKC National Championship weekend in December.

Vain's dam, Monroe (GCh LAMZ Platinum Blonde), is a lovely bitch, who unfortunately had a short show career due to an injury she sustained as a youngster. While Monroe was able to compete her AKC Championship and Grand Championship with relative ease, her vets have insisted on a lifetime limitation on performance and companion events for her. As such, she is one of the lesser-known dogs at our house, but instead, has become one of the most beloved companions for our family. She is extremely outgoing, loving and gets along with everyone. Monroe was a singleton puppy from an outcross we did, bringing some lovely features to our breeding program - especially her excellent rear movement. She passed her exceptional temperament and rear on to her puppies.
Vain's sire, Zoolander (MBISS NBISS GCHB LAMZ Really Really Ridiculously Good Looking FDC CA BCAT RATI RATN CGC TKN), hardly needs an introduction. This young dog has taken the show ring by storm, ending 2019 as the #1 Bedlington Terrier (Breed Points) in the United States, winning multiple Terrier Groups, multiple specialty Best of Breed awards, and was Best of Breed at the 2019 BTCA Grand National Specialty. Vain is from his second litter. His first litter produced Group Winning Ch M&M LAMZ Liv'er Let Die, and CAN Ch M&M LAMZ The World Is Not Enough ATD (#1 Bedlington Terrier in Canada in 2019). We are very pleased with the quality and incredible temperaments produced in Zoo's first two litters.
