About Monroe
Monroe is a singleton puppy, born from frozen semen that was collected and stored with the sole intention of being used for the breeding that created her, Monroe is essentially worth her weight in platinum, hence how she got her name. Monroe is the puppy we all dream of when planning a breeding - beautiful breed type, gorgeous details, all wrapped in a showy, sassy package.
Monroe made her debut show weekend in December 2017, earning two Winners Bitch & Best of Breed awards from the 6-9mos puppy class over specials for her first two majors! She started back in the ring in January 2018, going Winners Bitch all three days of the circuit, earning three more singles. Not limited to the breed ring, Monroe earned a National Owner-Handled Series Best in Show during just her fifth show out! She followed it up the next day with a NOHS Group 1. Monroe finished her Championship and Grand Championship in short order in the spring of 2018!
Monroe has since gone on to be a fabulous brood bitch for us, producing Vain, Linx, Tyrant, Ticket, Tease and Bunny who are all going to make significant contributions to our and other breeding programs!

Monroe's dam, DeeDee (GCHB LAMZ Pirate's Delight CAA), was shown fairly limitedly, but had a decorated show career in her short time in the ring. DeeDee is a Multiple Terrier Group Placer who was Winner Bitch at the 2013 BTCA National Specialty for a 5-point Major. Additionally, she earned two BTCA Supported Entry Best of Breeds. Dee is a monster on the lure coursing field, earning her Coursing Ability Advanced (CAA) title in short order.
Monroe's sire, Tom (Ch Jewelbox Sapphire Silk), was a beautiful dog with a tremendous temperament. He had a lovely head, extremely dense coat, sound movement and excellent proportion. For us, it was love at first sight and we knew he had to become a part of our breeding program. Before he was neutered, we were graciously given the opportunity to collect and store frozen semen from him to use at a later date. We earmarked it specifically to be bred to DeeDee and the results in Monroe were well worth the effort!
