About Khaleesi
Khaleesi, combines the very best of the LAMZ Bedlington Terriers in her pedigree, building upon a strong foundation of international and American bloodlines. Her pedigree combines the top-quality pedigrees of American, English, Canadian, and Swedish bedlingtons. Khaleesi inherited many of the best aspects of her pedigree, possessing a beautifully clean and long head, a thick coat, tremendous movement from all directions and a spitfire personality.
Khaleesi started her show career off with a bang, earning her first 5 points (a major and two singles) her first weekend out. She followed that up by going Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2017 BTCA National Specialty in Louisville, KY for a 3-pt major, and then Winners Bitch at the BTCA Supported Entry the day following the National Specialty for a 5-point major, all from the 6-9mos puppy class.
Khaleesi finished her championship by going Winners Bitch at the 2017 BTCA Inaugural Eastern National Specialty. Khaleesi was shown fairly limitedly throughout the rest of 2017, but consistently earned Best of Breed awards and Multiple Terrier Group Placements. She capped off 2017 by earning Best of Breed at the 2017 Kennel Club of Philadelphia/National Dog Show in Philadelphia, PA, and then going down to Orlando, FL to the 2017 AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin, where she was Best of Breed in both the NOHS Series Finale and the Inaugural National All-Breed Puppy & Junior Stakes.
Khaleesi enjoyed a long and decorated show career, often ending up in the ribbons at major events. She capped off her show career earning two Best of Breed awards during the 2021 BTCA National Specialty weekend at Hatboro II and Montgomery County Kennel Club and received a Bred-By Group 4 at Montgomery. Following her big weekend, she will be bred and hopefully produce the next generation of beautiful LAMZ Bedlington Terriers.

Khaleesi's dam, Rigby (NBISS GCHS LAMZ Eleanor Rigby JE CAX BCAT RATI RATN CGC), had a tremendous show career. Consistently ranked among the top of the breed standings during her campaign, she received many prestigious awards and recognitions. Notably, Rigby was awarded Best of Breed at both the 2013 BTCA National Specialty and the 2013 Westminster Kennel Club dog show, as well as receiving National Specialty Select and Award of Merit wins and multiple Group Wins and Placements. Rigby was the very first Grand Champion Bedlington Terrier in AKC History. She also has been very successful in Coursing Ability Testing, earning her Coursing Ability (CA) title in just one weekend and her Coursing Ability Advanced (CAA) title with a perfect 10-for-10 record! She also earned her BCAT title in AKC's FAST CAT program in one weekend. Rigby comes from a pedigree full of top winners and producers. Her sire, Multi Ch Isotop's Hot Shot, is a Champion in several countries with wins and placements at the group level. Her dam, Chloe (Ch LAMZ Lucky Clover), consistently produced top winners in the show ring and is a BTCA All-Time Top Producing Brood Bitch. Rigby's grandsire, Vegas, MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE CA RATN RATI CGC, is the 2011 BTCA National Specialty winner and has a lengthy show record, including being the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the US in 2007.

Khaleesi's sire, Hoodie (Ch LAMZ Snowbrook Men in Tights), has had a very short but highly decorated show carer. Hoodie was Winners Dog/Best of Winners and Best in Sweepstakes at the 2015 BTCA National Specialty in Louisville, KY. He followed that win up by going Winners Dog/Award of Merit at the 2016 BTCA National Specialty in Raleigh, NC. Hoodie is a smaller dog, with a fabulous coat, beautifully clean head and lovely proportion. He is sired by our top-winning and top-producing foundation dog, Vegas (MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE CA RATI RATN CGC) and is out of our BTCA National Specialty Best in Sweepstakes winner, Pippa (Ch LAMZ Upstaged the Bride CA). Khaleesi is out of Hoodie's first litter and we look forward to seeing how Hoodie contributes to our breeding program.
