About Kei
Kei is from our fall 2014 "Boy Bands" litter. His dam, Elphie (GCh LAMZ Wickedly Defying Gravity), was campaigned very lightly, but was a Group Placing special with several nice breed wins over top competition. His sire, Finn (GCh LAMZ Glaurieus Grand Finale RATI), is just starting his specials career, but was Best of Opposite Sex at the 2015 Westminster Kennel Club dog show and recently earned his first Group Placement!
Kei was shown very limitedly in the United States before he was exported to Japan in October 2015. Kei started his show career off with a bang, earning a Best of Breed over top-winning specials, making the cut in the Terrier Group (in an entry of over 400 terriers) and receiving a Puppy Group 2! In June 2015, at just 9 months of age, Kei earned another Best of Breed over top-winning specials and took a Group 4 from the classes! Kei went Winners Dog at Hatboro (BTCA National Specialty weekend) for a 5-point major and went Winners Dog/Best of Winners and Best in Sweepstakes at the 2015 BTCA National Specialty, held in conjunction with Montgomery to finish his AKC Championship with another 5-point major. Kei was exported right after Montgomery weeked to start his new chapter of life in Japan. He quickly earned his FCI Championship and has produced some outstanding puppies for his owners.
