About Carter
Carter was a puppy back from the fabulous litter between Hawking and Augusta, bred by Irina Getman of Arkada Sirene Bedlington Terriers. His mother, a Swiss import, has so much to offer this breed and we are delighted to be able to incorporate her type and diversity into our breeding program. A huge thank you to Irina for not only choosing to use Hawking, but for allowing Carter to come back to us to improve our breeding program as well!
Carter is a multiple 4-6mos Beginner Puppy Best in Show winner, and after a few months off in 2023, came roaring back to finish his AKC Championship in two weekends - the BTCA Eastern National Specialty and AKC National Championship weekends - against stiff competition!
Carter's life took a different path than we expected in 2024, after he went to spend a few months with a good friend for some training and for them to use him in grooming contests. Our friend fell absolutely head over heels for Carter, and after some deep thinking we decided that the best place for him was spending the rest of his life living with this friend. We still co-own Carter and will be incorporating him into our breeding program, but when he's not out showing with his new co-owner, he is an absolutely spoiled and loved member of their family!
