About Bubbles
Bubbles lives with our junior handler, Sadie. She is a beautiful girl with a long, clean head, beautiful large ears and optimal angulation front and rear. She covers ground beautifully, with the suspension possessed by her sire and dam. She finished her Championship easily with a 5-point major along the way. She was Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2014 BTCA National Specialty. Bubbles and Sadie will be out in the ring in the future, working on her Grand Championship and showing in Junior Showmanship.
Bubbles' dam, Rigby (BISS GCh LAMZ Eleanor Rigby CGC), had a tremendous show career. Consistently ranked in the top of the breed standings during her campaign, she received many prestigious awards and recognitions. Notably, Rigby was awarded Best of Breed at both the 2013 BTCA National Specialty and the 2013 Westminster Kennel Club dog show, as well as receiving National Specialty Select and Award of Merit wins and multiple Group Wins and Placements. Rigby was the very first Bedlington Terrier Grand Champion in AKC History. Rigby comes from a pedigree full of top winners and producers. Her sire, Multi Ch Isotop's Hot Show, is a Champion in many countries with wins and placements at the group level. Her dam, Chloe (Ch LAMZ Lucky Clover), consistently produces top winners in the show ring and is just 1 Champion shy of being a BTCA All-Time Top Producing Brood Bitch. Rigby's grandsire, Vegas, MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE CA RATI, is the 2011 BTCA National Specialty winner and has a lengthy show record, including being the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the US in 2007.
Bubbles' sire, Marcus (Trevelyan's Quiet Playing Games), was bred in the Netherlands and later exported to Sweden, where he has had success in the show ring, yet is too young to finish his Championship under Swedish show rules. Marcus came to the United States for the 2013 BTCA National Specialty, where he was awarded Winners Dog/Best of Winners, and was Winners Dog two other days, for a total of 14pts with 3 majors. He will be returning to the US in September to hopefully finish his American Championship. Marcus is a beautiful liver dog, with an incredible head and sidegait that epitomizes the called-for "spring" in the Bedlington Terrier standard.
