Handled to numerous Group Wins and Placements, a Best in Specialty Show, numerous National Specialty-Weekend Best of Breeds and Supported Entry Best of Breeds as well as a Westminster Best of Opposite Sex award and National Specialty/Supported Entry and Regional Specialty Awards of Merit, among many other prestigious wins during his career. We actively specialed him for about 3 years and he was consistantly ranked in the top-10 in breed points, top-20 in all-breed points and we took him to #1 bedlington in the US in 2007.
Multiple Group Placing GCh LAMZ Eleanor Rigby - "Rigby"
Handled to multiple Group Placements, an Award of Merit at Westminster 2010, Award of Merit at Eukanuba 2009, Multiple National Specialty & Supported Entry Award of Merits, all in very light specialing. Rigby began her specials career with us in June of 2009 and has been specialed lightly, but was ranked in the top-10 after just 6 months out in 2009 and was the #6 Bedlington Terrier in 2010 while still being shown very lightly as she matures. She took 2011 off to become a mother, but has made a strong comeback in 2012 with numerous group placements and other awards.
Multiple Group Winning BISS GCh LAMZ Heads I Win Tails You Lose - "Shilling"
We handled Shilling to Winners Dog/Best of Winners for a 5-point major and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the 2010 BTCA National Specialty, as well as Reserve Winners the day preceeding the National Specialty. He was just 6mos and 1 day old at the time of the National. He then took two more majors with us a month later and then two group placements from the 6-9 puppy class before he turned 8 months old. He was ranked #6 in 2010 after very few weekends of showing, at just over a year of age. In 2011, he was the #1 Bedlington Terrier Dog (All-Systems) with multiple group wins, a BISS, many group placements and other awards. He is taking 2012 off to mature, while we focus on Rigby's last campaign year, and will be back in 2013.
Group Placing Ch LAMZ Wickedly Defying Gravity - "Elphie"
Elphie started out her show career going Winners Bitch/Best of Breed for her first point and then quickly picked up another major and two singles before she turned 7mos old. By 9 months old, she had finished her championship with another big major win, as well as a BBE Group 1 and numerous other wins against strong competition. She finished her Grand Championship by 20 months old and along the way, won a Group 3 in a nice terrier lineup. She is taking 2012 off to mature and will likely be back out in the show ring in 2013.
Group Placing Ch Windmaker's Promise - "Promise"
We only showed Promise a few times for her owner, but she took numerous Best of Breed's over large entries and was awarded a Group 2 in strong New York Terrier competition.
Group Placing Ch Ruttkay Karly Jo Kriskee - "Karly Jo"
Karly Jo was only shown by us for a short time, but was very successful in the show ring. She won the Breed from the classes many times in the ring, and finishing her championship easily. Along the way, she received a Group 3 with us in a very strong Non-Sporting group. After finishing her championship, she retired from active showing and now makes occasional appearances with her owners as they work on her Grand Championship.
Multiple Group Placing GCh Spellbind Fantastic Symphony - "Piper"
Handled to Winners Dog for a 5-point major from the 6-9mos Puppy Class the day preceeding our National Specialty in 2008. After the National, his owners allowed us to take him home with us, where he quickly finished his championship with 5-, 4- and 3-point majors just after his 10-month birthday. He also went Puppy Group 2 at the Columbia Terrier Association show while he was with us. He is now out being shown in the south east by his breeder/owner/handlers and is a Multiple Group Placing special with a National Specialty Award of Merit and several other nice awards.
Multiple Group Placing Ch Newmillers Handsome Hubert- "Hubert"
Gaby got to cover Hubert in the Group Ring when his usual handler, Margery Good, was showing another dog in the group ring. We were awarded a Group 4 in an extremely strong terrier group.
Ch Dogwood Love Affair - "Romeo"
Gaby got to cover Romeo in the Group Ring when his usual handler, Ernesto Lara, was showing another dog in the group ring. We were awarded a Group 3 in a group full of top-ranked terriers.
Ch Angel's Dashing Blue Baxter - "Baxter"
We showed Baxter a few times for his owners both as a class dog and a special. We finished his championship and then went on to take breed wins over top specials and made the cut in strong lineups every day of our National Specialty weekend in 2004.
Ch Spellbind Tough Act to Follow - "Taz"
Taz was a wild child from the moment she started showing. She was Reserve Winners Bitch at our National Specialty, but finding majors was difficult for her as her owners don't live in an area with many bedlingtons. We were able to help them groom and finish Taz, grooming her for both of her major wins and handling her to her last major to finish her championship at the Canfield, Ohio cluster.
Ch Ashcroft Ain't Miss Behavin' - "Mimi"
We had Mimi for a few weeks to introduce her to the showring and work on her grooming and training and in the short time we had her, we put all but the very last of her points on her. Thank you to Diane Pearson for allowing us to work with Mimi!
Ch Lambs End Calientita At Ashcroft - "Callie"
We showed Callie for her owner, Diane Pearson, over a long weekend and picked up her first major on her, going Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite over a top-ranked bitch special.
Ch LAMZ Wickedly Popular - "Glinda"
Glinda took to the ring very quickly and picked up her first point by her 2nd weekend out. She also took two puppy group 2's along the way to her championship. She finished her championship easily at just over 10 months of age.
Ch LAMZ Hokie Pokey - "Molli"
Molli is back from Arizona for a little while to finish her championship with us. She finished her championship in 3 weekends of showing and is now back home in Arizona with her family.
Ch LAMZ Crown Jewel - "Cj"
Cj was bred by us and her owners sent her back to us to be shown. She finished easily with a breed win over the special who was the #1 bedlington at the time and majors against stiff competition both in New York and California. She rarely placed lower than Winners Bitch during the short time it took to finish her.
Ch Chelsea's Prince of Wales - "Charlie"
We handled Charlie to all except his last few singles for his breeder Linda Freeman. He was a wonderful dog to show and we are thankful to his owner for letting us show him!
Ch LAMZ Riverdance - "Rio"
Rio is another homebred client. We showed him mostly at specialties where he consistantly did well in both the classes and sweeps. During his first weekend out with us at All-Breeds he was awarded 3 majors and a single, and finished his championship less than 3 weeks later. We also handled him and his sire to 2nd and 3rd Best Brace in Show at Montgomery in 2006 and 2007.
Ch LAMZ Hollywood Scandal - "Woody"
Woody's owners wanted us to get him started in the show ring so that he would have some training under his belt when she stepped in the ring with him for the first time. He did well from the moment he entered the ring, and ended up finishing with us in just 5 weekends. His owner allowed us to finish him rather than hold him out for her to catch up.
Ch LAMZ In My Life - "Ben"
Along the way to his championship, Ben went Winners Dog at the Bedlington Terrier Club of the West regional specialty and the BTCA Floating National held in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
